Recently, we suffered the loss of one of our beloved members, Yvonne Tung. She was one of our most knowledgeable members and a valuable asset to the community. More importantly, she was a most wonderful, giving person who would always come to the aid of those in need. Yvonne was also an avid tennis player, winning many matches and contests. We have therefore included a page in this site dedicated to her and ask that members share their thoughts and stories in her memory. This year's Go Green — $ave Green event will be held on September 26, 2009 at the Brittingham-Midtown Center, 570 McLawhorne Dr., off Jefferson Avenue. The program is designed to offer homeowners money saving landscape and gardening techniques that are healthy for the environment. Check out photos of last year's event taken by our own Seth Fisher. educational, non profit service organization which renders non-biased, sound

Cooperative Extension (VCE), our objectives are accomplished through the
